Elon Musk: “I’m a bitcoin supporter”

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk expressed the opinion that “bitcoin is a good thing” and should get public attention. He also described himself as a BTC supporter.

“Now I think bitcoin is a good thing. I don’t have a definite opinion about other cryptocurrencies,” Musk said during the chat.

He also said that many friends in the past urged him to buy bitcoin, but he was “late for the party.” Musk thinks he should have bought BTC in 2013 when one of his friends told him about the cryptocurrency:

“I’m a bitcoin supporter. I was late to the party, but I am a supporter. I think that bitcoin really is on the verge of widespread acceptance by participants in the traditional financial market.”

A reminder that last Friday, Musk “dispersed” Bitcoin to $37 000 with a mention on Twitter. He changed his profile description to one word: bitcoin. At the same time, he posted a tweet with the text “it’s inevitable” regarding bitcoin, which caused an influx of retail investors into the cryptocurrency industry.
